History

B-Liminal began as a solo singer/songwriter project for former Boxelder front man Bryce Rutkowski. After signing a record deal with the independently owned Contempt Records, Rutkowski released a self-titled solo EP. In November 2007, former Black River Circus and veteran professional touring guitarist and session musician Michael Lyons (who is usually referred to simply as "Lyons") joined Rutkowski and began writing songs. Shortly thereafter, Max Fraser, former bass player for West Palm Beach, Florida-based rock/reggae band Doorway27, came aboard. Since its inception in 2007, B-Liminal has had four different drummers, but the seat is currently occupied by the touring drummer of the band One and session player, Ryan "Ryngo" Weidenfeld. In 2009, B-Liminal left the now defunct Contempt Records, and signed with Secret7 Records, which is owned and operated by Jett Beres, bassist of Sister Hazel
