Aviad Raz is an Israeli sociologist and professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev who specialises, inter alia, in the IDF, kibbutz organisations, and Japanese organisations. Raz is also an author of two books: Riding the Black Ship: Japan and Tokyo Disneyland and Emotions at Work: Normative Control, Organizations, and Culture in Japan and America?, both of them published by Harvard University Press.
