History

C.D. Aspirante were formed on 18 May 1958 by Rafael Gálvez.
Their greatest achievement was just missing promotion to the primera division de El Salvador after a 2-1 loss to C.D. Chalatenango

Prior to the tournament Aspirante's created a new administration, Mr. Manuel Turcios was the President of the Club and Mr. Ricardo Araujo Gizzi was the Vicepresident. Both were very enthusiastic and dynamic. One of their first step was to hired their new coach, the Professor Mario Martinez. After agreeing to terms Mario Martines started recruiting players in the district to form the basis of the team that would come so close to achieving promotion. However due to poor results and dealing with the local supporters Mario Martines handed in his resignation and despite the setback the clubs would just miss out on promotion.
After the success the club has mainly stayed midtable failing to achieving the high they had once reached.
