Life and career

Ashley started playing piano at the age of 6 and wrote her first song at the age of 7. She also had extensive training in dance arts and studied with Pacific Northwest Ballet as a teen. She studied business at Baylor University and graduated with a BA in Art and Performance from University of Texas at Dallas in 2003.

Ashley has been a vocal coach for young talent including Selena Gomez, Bella Thorne, Debby Ryan, Madison Davenport, and Jazzlyn Marae. In 2002, she began teaching for Linda Septien in Dallas, Texas. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2008, she has served on staff at Coast Music Conservatory as well as coaching independently.
