Cabrera had a breakthrough season in 2011, when he emerged as a potent offensive force in a injury-plagued Indians lineup. Cabrera hit 25 home runs and drove in 92 RBIs, both career highs. He also hit for a .273 average and stole 17 bases, while making several highlight plays at the shortstop position. For his heroics he has earned his first All-Star appearance
