Professional career

Known as "King Artur", Grigorian began his professional career in 1994 and won the Vacant WBO Lightweight Title by defeating Javier Altamirano in 1996. He went undefeated throughout his whole career and defended the title 17 times before losing it to Acelino Freitas

In February 2009, at the age of 41, he came out of retirement for one more bout in which he won a six round unanonimous decision against Kirkor Kirkorov
