As of 2011, the band consists of Kristen Henderson on bass guitar/bg vocals, Cathy Henderson on lead guitar/bg vocals, Dena Tauriello on drums and Nini Camps on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. The band released a studio CD in August, 2011 called "23 Red" - funded through over $40K of fan donations - enabling the band to create their own record label, 'Rising Shine Records.' "23 Red" is distributed through Joan Jett's Blackheart Record label (MMD). Starting October 6, 2011, Starbucks worldwide will add two songs from "23 Red" into regular in-store rotation ("Everywhere is Home" & "Gracefully").

The band is primarily known as a touring band, at one time performing 260 shows a year. They earned a dedicated fanbase early on that follows them from concert to concert along the East Coast

Current status

In April 2010, Antigone Rising released an EP titled Live From NYC - recorded live at The Bitter End. In November 2010, the band released a Christmas single, titled "This Christmas", which is being serviced to Triple A radio and is gaining airplay. Most recently, in August 2011, Antigone Rising released their latest CD "23 Red," produced by Gary Philips. The CD was recorded through fan donations in which the band raised over $40K. The money allowed the girls to release "23 Red" on their own 'Rising Shine' record label, and have it distributed worldwide via Joan Jett's Blackheart Record Label (MMD).
