Appearance

A small marine fish that reaches 20 cm in length. It has many color phases used for camouflage.

This fish is known for being difficult to care for and should be expected to eat any fish up to twice its length. Because of this tendency it can only be kept in a species tank, or with very large fish. They should not be kept with fish which eat invertebrates off of rocks, such as triggerfish
