Fiction Factory are a Scottish New Wave band from Perth, originally formed in 1983.Before they started their project Fiction Factory, Kevin Patterson , Eddie Jordan , Grant Taylor and Chic Medley played in The Rude Boys , a skinhead ska band.CBS asked the band to create a concert playing band, so...

. It was released in 1985. The album featured no hits. The album was released on CD in Germany by Instant Records and has become out of print and a collectors item. By the time of this album, the original members Eddie Jordan, Mike Ogletree and Graham McGregor had left the band. Fiona Carlin did lead vocals on Victoria Victorious and has never featured on any other recording or release before or since.

After the album, Fiction Factory disbanded. Patterson eventually left the music industry and began working in the IT department at the University of Dundee. The band did briefly reunite, only consisting of Patterson and Jordan to perform "(Feels Like) Heaven" with a backing band at Jordan's wedding in August 2007.
