Anne Chislett

Anne Chislett is a Canadian author and screenwriter. Raised in her hometown, she studied at Memorial University in St. John's and the University of British Columbia. After she taught English and theater in high schools in Ontario and surrounding area. Since 1980 she is full-time writer.

Among her most famous pieces include The Tomorrow Box of 1980 and Quiet in the Land of 1981. Quiet in the Land won a Governor General's Award
