Mulligan's career started as a host on Otago University’s Cow TV. His Television career has seen him appear as a presenter on Sportzah, Summer Of Cricket, Best Damn Super 12 Show Ever and Fight For Life. Mulligan also formerly hosted the Auckland radio station 91ZM Weekend Breakfast Show with Jason Reeves.
