She signed a new contract in May 2005, to work as a chief editor and host of the national news SBT Brasil, for SBT Networks.
After one year as chief editor and host of SBT Brasil, Ana Paula announced she was leaving the news programme. From that time, she'd develop a new TV show for SBT. Then, in 2006 her new programme was released - SBT Realidade.
