Preserve owned by the Nature Conservancy. Its acquisition cost was $16.5 million with East Hampton Town and Suffolk County also contributing.
The park is totally undeveloped and there are no plans to develop it. It includes 1288 feet (392.6 m) of ocean frontage, several ponds and 54 acres (218,530.4 m²) of tidal and freshwater wetlands. The area was earlier referred to locally as the "Montauk Moorlands."
