The Plot

Krishnamraju was an orphan and brought up by Satyanarayana, a notorious smuggler. He becomes a very rich man. He dearly loves Jayasudha, who works in his office. However Jayasudha and Muralimohan loves each other. When Krishnamraju proposes to Jayasudha, she refuses. Jealous Krishnamraju attempts to kill Muralimohan. Accidentally he saw their childhood photo and recognizes him as his own younger brother. He arranges the marriage of Muralimohan and Jayasudha. Muralimohan came to know about the affection of Krishnamraju on Jayasudha, he started hating Jayasudha. To break the deadlock, Krishnamraju kills himself and becomes an Amara Deepam (meaning Eternal Flame).
