Life and artwork

Amanda completed her schooling at the Shining Mountain Waldorf School in Boulder, Colorado. She then traveled to Vienna, Austria to study intensively the techniques of the Old Master

s as taught by Michael Fuchs.

She was then introduced to Michael's father Ernst Fuchs

 in 1999. Ernst then invited her to work with him on various projects as a painting assistant which has carried on till today as well as involving extensive work in the Apocalypse Chapel in Klagenfurt

On her search for a broader audience and resonance for her art, she has discovered a thriving scene on the west coast of California and will be 'laying' the next series of work in her new ivory tower in downtown Los Angeles in the historic 725 spring St. building above the HIVE Gallery.

She continues to create in segments between Vienna, Austria and Los Angeles.... with middle stations of most importance, such as Burning Man 09 (this year exhibiting in the Evolutionary Temple).
