 and will be the sixth railway station of Almere.

The opening of the station was first planned for 2007, but construction and its opening have been delayed. It is now expected to open in 2012. The station will serve the new borough Almere Poort which is also under development since 2007 and will have 11,000 dwellings when it is finished.
