. It is located at 126 Baitursynov Street in Almaty and has around 4,000 students. AIPET is considered as one of the most well known university in the field of Power Engineering and Telecommunications in Central Asian region. Students from all over Central Asia study at AIPET. They live in 3 campuses with Wi-Fi internet access, Online library, recreation facilities and everything needed.

AUPET has 3 full-time faculties:
  • Power engineering faculty
  • Electrical engineering faculty
  • Telecommunications faculty


Nowadays, AUPET is building third educational case with new modern athletic field.
Besides, undergraduate students can get a second bachelor's degree in economics of Moscow Power Engineering Institute simultaneously with studying at AUPET .
