With a population of 1690 according to the 2002 census, the commune is composed of seven villages: Almaşu Mare, Almaşu de Mijloc, Brădet (Tannenbach), Cib (Tropfbach), Cheile Cibului (Theyenport), Glod (Kloden) and Nădăştia (Rohrfeld).
