. It is a Mixed school of Non Denominational religion, although the Protestant faith is overwhelmingly dominant. There has been a slump in the student population of the school over recent years, the student population was approx 70 in 1996, and as low as 40 in 2006.

The school is due to close in June 2011, and will be replaced by Sgoil an Rubha, a newly built school for all of Point.
