In 2006 she was the Winner of the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Voice of Musical Theatre at the Cardiff International Festival, where judge Michael Ball
said, "We witnessed the birth of a star, she was extraordinary." She was then cast as Sofia in Howard Goodall
’s Days of Hope at the Kings Head Theatre.
Next she won a starring role in the Edinburgh Fringe
hit Eurobeat at the Pleasance and then went onto create the lead role of Luisa in the UK Tour of Zorro
.
In August 2008 she originated the role of Polly Pry
in Trey Parker's Cannibal! The Musical
at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
