The website "GN4Me.com" reports that Helmy was seen on many occasions wearing the black, white and red ring. In that film Helmy made his first big screen appearance, co-starring alongside Alaa Waley El Din. Thereafter, he quickly made a jump to leading roles in films such as Omar 2000, El Nazer (The Headmaster), El Selem We Al Tho'ban (Snakes And Ladders).

Ahmed Helmi ambassador for UN World Food Programme

Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmi was chosen as ambassador of the project "Food for Education" launched by the UN World Food Programme (WFP) and "Chipsy" food products company. He confirmed he will visit the kids in schools and follow up with them, though, according to him, the WFP did not give him a work schedule. But he plans to do everything he can to help children.
