On February 7, 2009 AdventureGamers announced the nominations for its first annual award ceremony. The winners were revealed over the course of three days, from February 18 to February 20. The award statuette, resembling the golden idol featured in the website's loge, called The Aggie, has been designed by Bill Tiller.
