 scholarships, built classrooms, initiated teacher training and vocational training programs, started a school lunch program, outfitted computer labs, and supplied textbooks, school supplies, and other classroom materials in Tanzanian schools. In 2010, AfricAid expanded its reach to establish the Kisa Project, a new girls' scholarship and leadership training initiative that supports Tanzanian girls as they become leaders in their communities and across the nation. Through this program, Kisa Scholars and their sponsors have the opportunity to form relationships using the kisaproject.org social network.
