 for radio club matters. The ACC is appointed by the section manager to encourage club affiliation with the national organization on a section-wide basis. The ACC post is arguably one of the more important appointments in the section field organization, as clubs are essentially a "microcosm" of the field organization: clubs incorporate many, if not all the elements of the latter. E.g., emergency communications, publicity, public service, technical expertise, local interference committees, to name but a few.
