In addition, Adam competed and was a standout in rugby, cricket, soccer and swimming; Away from athletics Adam was studying marketing and computers.

Training

Adam wanted to be a professional wrestler from a very young age. From about 12 years of age Adam sought the help and advice from former British wrestler Tony 'Banger' Walsh about how to break into the business. Walsh set up meetings with Adam and his son Darren who wrestled at the time on the UK Independent scene so that he could get his advice, too. He also gave him contact information for independent shows being run in the area that he could attend to watch and talk to the athletes performing. It was at one of these shows held in Leamington Spa

that a wrestler on the show suggested to Adam that he look into going to Hammerlock Wrestling Academy. Adam started looking into the school and in 1997 began training in Professional Wrestling at the Hammerlock Wrestling Academy in England under Andre Baker. He travelled to London every week by train from Coventry to attend the wrestling and shoot fighting sessions that Baker offered. He made his debut on a show with Hammerlock in Kent, England at the end of 1998.

Between 1996 and 1999 Adam also was writing letters monthly to the WWE office in Stamford CT. The letters he wrote would ask about how to get over to the United States to learn to wrestle. In 1997 Adam received a response by mail from Jim Ross who advised Adam that there was currently no official training program in place but there were some wrestling schools in the US that he could attend. Adam Continued with the letter writing process and in 1999 received a letter from a lady at WWE headquarters by the name of Sue De Rosa. She advised Adam that she had passed his letter on to the current trainer of the 'WWF Dojo' Dory Funk, Jr. and that he would be getting in contact with him. Windsor received a letter from Funk a few weeks later and was then invited to Ocala, Florida in 1999.

Adam moved to America full time in late 1999 and spent time training. He also went to Canada to train with the Hart family in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for a short time. Adam would not travel back to the UK for three years after this point.

America

Adam made his American wrestling debut in August 1999 in Florida in a tag team match which involved Lonnie Valdez as his tag team partner and they faced HC LOC and Jeremy Jet. Adam scored the winning pinfall in his first ever match. Adam competed that same night in a Battle Royal along with Amy Dumas who would go to perform in WWE under the name of Lita. Adam then made his Japanese debut in 1999 for FMW on pay per view.

In 2000 Adam went on to become the NWA Florida heavyweight champion by defeating, Chris Nelson, Jumbo Barerra and Vito Denucci in one night. A month later he defeated Dory Funk Jr to retain the championship and then went on to have a series of matches with Brent Dail. Adam continued to wrestle all over the US and had the opportunity to wrestle for WCW before it was bought out by Vince McMahon. After WCW was bought out by McMahon, Adam started wrestling dark matches for WWE. In 2004 Adam worked a WWE house show tour around Florida in which he defeated Ricky Noble, Marcus Dillon and Paul London before heading to New Japan Pro Wrestling. Adam was featured in New Japans biggest show of the year in the Tokyo Dome in front of 90,000 people.

Between 2000 and 2006 Adam wrestled on numerous TV Shows through the US including Dory Funk Jrs "BANG TV" show on Fox, "THROWDOWN" on brighthouse network, NWA Wildside TV shown in Georgia. Adam was also regularly listed yearly in the PWI top 500 wrestlers in the world throughout these years.

In 2009 Adam reinvented his character in a new tag team called The European Union with another former Stampede Alumni Neil Faith. The European Union has been one of the top tag teams in Florida since debuting in 2009 and have already been winning championship gold around the state. With offers to wrestle as a tag team around the US, Europe and also Japan, Windsor and Faith have only just began what seems to be an excting ride in the world of tag team wrestling. It would not be a surprise to see this European tag team who are now in the prime of their careers sign as a team with a major US wrestling organization in the near future.

June 2010 The European Union become the WXW Tag team champions.

September 11, 2010 European Union beat Los Ben Dejos to become the Vintage Wrestling World Tag Team Champions.

August 2011 Adam is voted as one of the top current 500 hundred Professional Wrestlers in the world in 2011 at position 392 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine.

2006-2009

Adam took time off of professional wrestling between 2006 and 2009 to heal his body from the constant work it had been doing from when he started with full contact sports at 8 years old. He also felt that it was time for him and his family to settle down and start a new business venture. Adam's time off from the ring lead him into being one of the youngest Director Of Operations, President and part owner of a multimillion dollar health club franchise in Florida and the United States. Adam had a staff of over 300 people working for him throughout the company that he expanded over the course of just over 4 years. At the same time he also ventured into and had some success in the realstate market. He went on to help put together and run a part of the Stimulus Plan that President Obama put into place for specialized refinances that qualified.

Back in the entertainment business, Adam has worked for MTV and appeared on shows such as a True Life Documentary. These documentaries currently still air.

Adam from a young age was also interested in magic and in August 2008 he appeared on stage with David Copperfield in Las Vegas.

In 2009 Adam felt like he had a few more matches left in him so returned to the squared circle to start a tag team with fellow British wrestler and STAMPEDE alumni Neil Faith called the EUROPEAN UNION

2010

Even though Adam has pretty much retired from actually competing in the ring, he still continues to wrestle in Florida and throughout the United States with tag team partner Neil Faith in THE EUROPEAN UNION on a limited basis.

As of July 2010 The EUROPEAN UNION are regularly listed in the top 5 Tag Teams in the state of Florida in polls ran by wrestling911.com and marcuspitts.com, they are also currently listed in the top 5 tag teams for NWA Florida/NWA Fusion as well.

September 11, 2010 European Union beat Los Ben Dejos to become the Vintage Wrestling World Tag Team Champions.

October 2010 The European Union are constantly ranked as the number one tag team in Florida.

On a normal day to day basis Adam and his wife Jade own and run a Public Relations Entertainment Company representing US and international talent from a variety of different entertainment area's which has grown significantly over the past few years and continues to be a force in today's PR and promotional market. They had their second child Lachlan at the end of October 2010. Jades adopted father Steve Austin is one of Lachlans Godfathers and his other Godfather is Former British Professional Wreslter Tony Walsh.

At the beginning of December 2010 Adam and Jade launched a new web based international digital media corporation which has already garnished rave reviews from US and foreign press. In 2011 they plan to insert their corporation into the global digital media market and aim to be one of the leaders in this ever growing and changing industry within the next couple of years.

As far as the wrestling side of Adam's career, he has committed to a few matches in 2011 with Tag Team Partner Neil Faith, but plans on stepping back and working more behind the scenes with talent and also working on the creative end of the business with several different organizations. Adam has written hundreds and hundreds of wrestling television shows and scripts over the years as well as trained hundreds and hundreds of wrestlers from all over the world. His main aim now as far as the professional wrestling business goes is to be able to share his knowledge with other wrestlers that he has gained and help as many wrestlers that he can with their careers.

2011

In February 2011, Adam assisted his wife and her brother and sister in opening a memorial website for their late father Gentleman Chris Adams http://www.gentlemanchrisadams.com In tribute to the fallen English wrestler, Adam uses the superkick as one of his primary finishing maneuvers.

August 2011 Adam is voted as one of the top current 500 hundred Professional Wrestlers in the world in 2011 at position 392 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine. In an interview conducted with Adam at the beginning of August 2011 Adam talked about his current involvement with an evolving Wrestling promotion and also how he is in the transition of moving completely out of in ring competition all together and his ambitions to continue on in the Wrestling industry part time on a creative level while continuing to run his non wrestling related organizations and businesses.

November 2011 Adam was featured in a Florida life and style magazine being interviewed about his achievments and goals in and out of wrestling. A notable fact from this interview is that Adam continues to give back to the local community that he lives in. Over the years Adam has helped developed tens of thouands of square area footage into different pieces of property which have benefited the commnunity such health clubs and restaurants. Even though Adam now enjoys a much more quiet life with his wife and children at home, and enjoys not being on the road wrestling or on his phone 24/7 with his businesses, he still likes to work on fun and interesting projects that not only bring jobs to the community that he lives in, but also expands what his town has to offer. Adams latest developed property is set for a January 2012 open and launch.
Also of note in the interview, Adam also continues to work behind the scenes with a quickly evolving wrestling promotion and he would like to continue to grow this body of work as he feels that his in ring matches are pretty much finished. He really loves to share his experiences and knowledge of the wrestling business to young up and coming stars and not only help them improve their wrestling ability and timing but also advise them on how to save and invest the money that they make wisely as the wrestling business can be a very tough industry to stay involved in.
