Background and History

Work on the album began early in 2009. Adalita has stated in various interviews that all the songs on the album were written for this project, and were not songs leftover from her previous work with Magic Dirt

. All recordings for the album were completed by the time of Dean Turner's death in August 2009. The album was then completed throughout 2010.
