Above magazine is a quarterly publication that focuses on the environment. Its motto is "For The Earth". The first issue came out in the summer of 2009, the next in the winter of 2009. The third in the spring of 2010 and the fourth in the fall of 2010.

Printed issues can be purchased for ₤5 in the UK (or $10 in the US). The official website offers a free preview viewable online, along with videos and additional information. It is distributed worldwide.

Above has been described as "cutting edge", a magazine using luxury, fashion, art ("eco-art"), photography, architecture, and design to raise awareness of the endangered environment. The magazine is the brainchild of editor-in-chief Nicolas Rachline. Rachline told Reuters

The print version of the magazine, which will remain as a bi-annual publication, is currently being adapted to an electronic format where the use of audio visual material will play a major role. The new website will offer numerous interactive features and will serve as a unique portal to the world's beauty and how to preserve it. The launch is expected at the beginning of 2012.
