Ford got the inspiration for her hip-hop and dancehall-fueled female empowerment anthem "A Toast to Men (F*ck the Men)", at a sorority party she had attended with some friends. At the party the sorority sisters got together and chanted, "Fuck the men, let's drink to us". The song, which was written by Toby Gad

"A Toast to Men (F*ck the Men)" caused some controversy at radio because of the title, and how DJs should pronounce it. In the radio edited version of the song the word "fuck" was replaced with a space/scratch noise.

There are two versions of the video, one censored and one uncensored. Both are similar with the concept of a sorority party.
