"A Cross-Country Trip to Kill Richard Nixon" is the story of a young man, Siggy, who blames all of America’s problems on former president Richard Nixon

. When granted a wish by a fairy godmother, Siggy wants to use it to kill Nixon before he "ruined the country", in his view. However, upon meeting Nixon, Siggy realizes that Nixon was not really to blame, and so wishes for everyone to stop hating Nixon.
