The company also provides business services, including AdHaven - a mobile advertising platform and ad network, and MediaHaven - an SMS publishing service. 4INFO is the largest provider of SMS content and information services in North America..

Consumers can sign up for alerts ranging from sports scores and weather updates to stock quotes and celebrity gossip, either by subscribing online or texting the keyword for their desired alerts to 4INFO's shortcode (44636). Alerts can be managed at alerts.4INFO.com, where users can change both the frequency and content of alerts. For example, determining the maximum amount of financial news alerts to receive per day, or getting quarterly updates on the NBA finals rather than just the final scores. The alerts remain free to consumers due to the advertisements included below the messages, and are entirely opt-in.

Both venture capital firms reinvested all the way through Series D financing, as well as Gannett Company, Inc., Selby Ventures, Sand Hill Capital, and Peacock Equity. 4INFO has raised over $50 million in total capital.

Initially begun to provide mobile search functions, 4INFO has now expanded to provide both ad-serving across all mobile media as well as publishing platforms for SMS. SMS search queries and responses now account for approximately 30% of total SMS volume.
