 3rd Naval Warfare Flotilla was founded in 2005 when the former Mine-layer and Surface flotillas joined together. The flotilla's home base is in Karlskrona

. The flotilla mostly deploy ships in international missions today.

The flotilla is split in to three different divisions.

31st Corvett division
