In the end, it was consistency that gifted Reuter the title. He scored for the first 15 rounds of the season, and only failed to do so 6 times in 26 rounds. In Comparison, Schneider failed to score 8 times and Nannini 12, despite both taking more wins (3 vs. 4 & 7).
