What does Aristotle say about the state, and what factors led to his philosophical thougthts about the state?

Aristotle says the state is supposed to be of the free men, men who are very wise and intelligent,who have good moral principles and norms,those men who can set an example for others.Since he did not regard slaves as free men,they were not members of the state. He further articulates that slaves were born servitudes.

Factors that led to his philosophical thougthts about the state include the fact that he was writing his views as they happened. He was a member of the Greek state and he was a recognized philosopher, teacher, political leader and a respected author.
