Yes, we as christians we do believe in Christ as mesiah, the son of the living Father.

However, my question is, do we really follow his (Christ) laws? In the biblical history when Jesus Christ was on earth he delivered so many laws and teachings on how we the followers of Christ (christians) chould live. As we can see and read from the bible (New Testiment)every day.

In other religions they really do mean business to follow whatever laws they have. Example, muslms pray three times a day despite any circumstances (ramadan) or they give what they call 'thanksgiving' to poor people and many others. All these things (according to their believe) must be done regardless of whatever.....they have.

When comparing to that of the Christianity, we christians play up with the laws that are stated in the bible for us to follow. Does that mean Jesus will have mercy on us because the christians are on a religion that contains Christ name?

Thanks

I am not sure what you are asking. But the bible states unless a man is renewed by regeneration he cannot enter the kingdom of god. Does this answer your question?

Joe,

the problem, as I see it, is the corruption of Jesus's teachings by dogmatic law.

all the praying and head covering and bible thumping in the world doesn't bring one soul closer to God. Jesus's teachings are simple and easy to follow and have no dogma to them. I follow them and they have led me to God. Period.

I see the dogma of religions as the single most divisive and possibly the most evil thing in this world. I accuse, directly, the Roman Catholic Church for the corruption of Jesus's message of peace, love, and respect FOR ALL MEN. Jesus said, that God ALONE will judge sin. Man's only task was to love and care for one another.
It is the catholic Church that made men believe they required an intermediary between them and God. That is the biggest lie ever told and the most destructive thing ever said.
I have discarded all things remotely catholic in my life and I was raised in the religion, that's a lot of baggage. I use a Jeffersonian bible which has Jesus's teachings, the great stories and little more.

the schism in this country between the God in our documents and the people those documents serve is a DIRECT correlation to the corruption of the gospel.
People think loving God and living on His path means hating something else and THAT is wrong

Head coverings ect are mere repersentations and expressions of humility, if you properly rad the bible, then you whould know that in 1 corinthians ch.11 v:5 it reccomends that women cover there heads in prayer.
