We had a very hard freeze for several days and my ice plant are light brown. Would this freeze kill them? If it did not should I cut them back?

Im not sure but i found a christmas cactus plant in my grandmothers garage frozen and limp and looked like no return i brought it home and it a week it was bigger than before :)
