I was supposed to get married, however, the bride's mother stopped the marriage due to some personal issues she has with my mother. She stopped our marriage just 2 weeks before the marriage ceremony.

Please note that I live in an Arabic and Muslim culture which does not allow us, traditionally, to break certain rules such as getting married even though the parents are objecting it. I am reading this book to wage war against her as she has already attacked me through my reputation in spreading the word that I am harsh, I am subjective, disrespectful, and crossed the line with her. She approached my family from all sides trying to show that I am the cause of the marriage to be cancelled, and she even made her cousin publish an article in the newspaper about our story! She approached my managers at work, and started to spread rumors around about me.

The mother was not enthusiastic about the marriage since the beginning. During our 4 months engagement, she travelled several times, for several weeks each claiming she is busy.

I don't want to hurt her, and I still want the girl. I have been reading this book and the 48 LAws of Power as well. My question is, what strategy should I pursue to attack and win from my side, ethically?
