I have recently begun using a component video cable of highest quality. It connects my DVD player to the Samsung HD LCD player. The quality of the picture has enhanced beyond doubt over the normal cables. But the colours have become different shades of RED, BLUE and GREEN (RBG). I have changed the LCD to progressive scan mode but without much avail.

There must be a way to fix this which is just not coming to mind. Any help from all of you would be much appreciated.
