The Huge Low-Pitched Musical Instrument Used in Tibet

Can anyone tell me the name of the huge, very low-pitched musical instrument used in Tibet, that was in the movie, "Seven Years in Tibet" (in the scene where Brad Pitt and his friend were entering Lhasa)? And where it might be possible to purchase one? I love the sound of that instrument.
