Hello my friend. By AA, I assume you mean alcoholoics annonymous? It is true, that for years the meetings were held in churches, and religion was a main direction. But since then, the organization has changed their view from being mainly about christianity and more about personal growth and understanding. The 12 step program, I believe would help anyone in their life, whether they have a problem with alcohol or not, and the wording has been changed from "God" to " God as you percieve". I have been to AA meetings, and I hope you find the kind of genuine, sincere, compassion I have found. It truley can be a blessing to be able to reach out and be open about your life without judgement. I wish you all the best, take care and be well :)

Well that reply was far more then I thought I would get.Thank you.
However I dont drink or eat meat/eggs/fish.My interest was more from a "spiritual healing" point of view.By this I mean what type of group do the leaders come from and what spiritual pratice do they use.A great interest of mine is the fear and love that beliefs install and how a group of people can gather enough engery together to change people/things either by fear or love.
I believe our state of being projects and then attracts.Although I know this Im trying hard to be positive as mind is at war with me.Still I also know this life we think we are living IS NOT..
Thank you again and I return your best wishes.
