Anna team claims victory for defeat of Congress in Hissar. Many commentators (including some from the Anna team- one is Justice Hegde) feel the anti-corruption crusade is tilting towards anti-congressism . The felling is spreading among the discerning that Anna wants his bill to be passed even if it leads to installing more corrupt at the helm!!Though the commentators may complain, I do not see why congress should complain that the team is implementing its agenda taking advantage of Anna. This is very common in democracy of a poor country as ours. Thus one can get votes in name of Ram (though voters know gross injustice was meted out by Ram to Sita) or by dividing people on basis of religions and castes.People in general do not see deep. Thus some 30 yrs back they believed that Ganpati was drinking milk offered till it was shown that it was flowing out from rear of temple!! They will worship Krishna as God oblivious of the fact that He has not come to arrest suffering in kaliyug as per promise.Thus it is not difficult to sway people. Even actors (particularly in south) have tremendous following.
The only difference is that Anna is still alive and kicking. And if the bill is passed Anna cannot reverse any loss caused to congress But still congress should fight out politically rather than complaining.
