I am 24 years old (plan to get initiation this yr at 25). I love a guy very deeply, and he loves me very deeply too, but he does not believe in radha soami faith, and does not understand it, and therefore, he wants me to buy/cook meat for him and his family. We planned to marry, but because of these issues, it was causing many problems, so we broke up few months ago, however, we still love each other so much, and want to be together.
Babaji says to do our duties to keep harmony within the family, but that is only for people who got into the path after marriage? In my case, I would be entering the marriage knowing about the problems, so Babaji wouldnt forgive me, and I would be sinning? what should I do? It is so hard.

I wish it was that easy. Thing is, I would be entering the marriage with my eyes wide open, and I would be sinning and making bad karma :( On the other hand, I truly love him.
I just dont know what to do. He is extremely heartbroken, he doesnt understand the importance of me avoiding meat, and thinks I chose babaji and my beliefs over him. But I chose to stick to my beliefs. I just dont know how to solve this.

Well if he keeps begging you, he must really like you. Maybe give him a chance. But if you really don't like him, just tell him politely. You're still young, there's no rush if you're not ready.

Baba Ji is the one who grew that love in your heart from both sides... maybe through you, he will come to this path... I have family who used to drink a lot of alchol, but since my aunt (who is initiated) married him, he came in this path also.... Dont let go off your love.... if he doesnt stop you from following the vows...
