We'll be 5 adults with a kindergartener going narrowboating for the 3rd time. The first two times we were on the Llangollen and the Cheshire. We're looking for something (one-way or loop) with a moderate number of locks, that is mostly rural (and away from the crowds), as well as with easy access to pubs and restaurants. We want to motor about 4-5 hours a day.

Is the stretch by Warwick good for what we want in early August?
Any other suggestions?
