Ok, i was reading the Dan Brown book, The Da Vinci Code and it talks about how Mona lisa isn't actually a portrait of a girl. It also kind of says that it's a likeness of da vinci so anyone think that's true?

I read the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. Brown is an excellent writer. I ended up staying up until four thirty in the morning and reading the whole book in one night. He kept me on the edge of my seat.
Many of the things mentioned in the book, however, are not true. While the book is intriguing, it is not factually accurate. I would suggest getting the book "Cracking The Da Vinci Code. It separates the truths from the untruths. I believe that the information about the Mona Lisa is in there as well. If memory serves me correctly, Da Vinci did use his face as the model for the Mona Lisa. It is my understanding that Mona is a female version of Da Vinci. I could be wrong though. I would get the book and find out for yourself.
