I am currently creating a wiki-page with some mates from uni for an assignment, and we are having a hard time finding anything wrong with using X.Tropicalis in favour of using X. Laevis, however we have come to the conclusion that because X.Laevis has been used over X.Tropicalis for so long, there must be some good reason. Anybody know any good reasons?

I just need to know what exactly is those things, because durng christmas break, i have to write a report on them.
