I'm from Windsor & I have a question which keeps getting me a variety of answers..."How did the fire in 1897 start which destroyed the majority of Windsor?" This inquiring mind would like to know. I've heard everything from a cow tipped over the lantern in the barn at milking time to a drunk started it. Personally I'll go with the cow idea...at least till I have a better explanation. Anyone have any answers for me???
