I received my turtle as a gift a month ago. i really enjoy "spike". he is a mature turtle, maybe 7 or 8 years old. when we first got him i noticed that his right eye seemed cloudy or dull. now a month later, both his eyes look cloudy. i think that he might be going blind. he doesn't seem to really see the worms or fish that i put in his tank, he seems to smell them, find them and eat them. but the gold fish are live & they swim all around him & it looks like he has trouble seeing them. i'm very concerned & would like to know if there is anything i can do for him, or if this is a common problem with spiny soft shells or if there is no problem at all. he lives in a 90 gallon tank,half filled with water. small rocks, he has an awesome cave & a sundeck upon his cave to bask in. he has a cannister filter to keep his water clean & i have slightly salted his water. the water temperature is kept between 75 & 78 degrees. i sure would appreciate some advice. thanks,
