I need to know what size and thread the is in the front of the crankshaft on a 1983 DeVille 250 ci v-8. is it metric , is it sae, and size . The guy that had the beat the harmonic balancer on with a hammer. I am replacing the water pump, had to remove the balancer . now to reinstall the balancer I cant get SAE or Metric to screw in to install the balancer ----unless I want to be like the meathead the beat it on. Sure could use some help. THANKS
