I have installed new front wheel disc brake pads on my 2004 Saturn VUE, I did not have the rotors turned (machined). At what temperatures should I expect the rotors, pads and calipers to be during moderate town and highway driving? I have about thirty miles on the vehicle since the new pad installation, I can touch and lightly hold my finger on the rotor surface immediately after a moderate drive of ten miles. The surface is hot, but not extremely so. What are the normal operating parameters??
