Eastern Bluebird

I have had a pair of eastern bluebirds for 9 months in mid florida. They have had three sets of babies. The last time they were at the feeder was Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015. All 5 birds were here. The following day we put out the dried meal worms we have fed them for all this time and after 2 days of not seeing them discovered the worms had mold on them. It is now 5 days that they have not been here. Did they just leave after having utilized the nesting boxes 3 times or did the moldy meal worms cause them harm. I am frantic trying to figure this out. Thanks for your advice.
