I have a bell pepper that has a big black spot near the bottom, I believe it is BER..Can I add some Baking powder to the soil near the base as a source os calcium, I have the powder, I have no money to buy anything. Bad situation so I need a resoloution with something I have in the house already. Thanks to any one who can help
